qFlamma® Black01 Hydrazide

qFlamma® Black01 Hydrazide is an aldehyde and ketone reactive universal dark quencher that the absorption range covers from 400 to 800 nm with no native fluorescence. Black01 quencher displays high absorption coefficient, superb stability and aqueous solubility. Hydrazides can label aldehyde and ketone through reductive amination reaction to form an imine linkage. The main labeling target for hydrazides are reducing sugars on biomolecules, and prior to conjugation, primary and secondary alcohols on polysaccharide and glycoprotein should be oxidized to corresponding aldehyde and ketone. We offer qFlamma® Black01 Hydrazide to label biomolecules bearing aldehyde or ketone for designing probes consisting of spectrally paired fluorophore and quencher.
