ANKK1 blocking peptide Reference: GTX88578-PEP The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and protein kinase superfamily involved in signal transduction pathways. This gene is closely linked to DRD2 gene (GeneID:1813) on chr 11, and a well studied restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) designated TaqIA, was originally associated with the DRD2 gene, however, later was determined to be located in exon 8 of ANKK1 gene (PMIDs: 18621654, 15146457), where it causes a nonconservative amino acid substitution. It is not clear if this gene plays any role in neuropsychiatric disorders previously associated with Taq1A RFLP. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 29]
Recombinant Mouse IL-27 / p28 subunit Reference: GFM50-2 The p28 subunit of interleukin-27 (IL-27), also known as interleukin-30 (IL-30), is a member of the interleukin-12 (IL-12) family of cytokines. p28 is a 28 kDa polypeptide that associates with the Epstein-Barr virus induced gene 3 (EBI-3) to form the IL-27 cytokine heterodimer complex. IL-27 functions as a proinflammatory cytokine that induces immunomodulatory effects in naive CD4+ T cells, mast cells, and monocytes. p28 can also form a complex with Cytokine-Like Factor 1 (CLF), that is secreted by dendritic cells, to regulate Natural Killer (NK) and T cell function.
GPR120 blocking peptide Reference: GTX88579-PEP This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor (GPR) which belongs to the rhodopsin family of GPRs. The encoded protein functions as a receptor for free fatty acids, including omega-3, and participates in suppressing anti-inflammatory responses and insulin sensitizing. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 212]

LRP4 blocking peptide Reference: GTX88580-PEP This gene encodes a member of the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein family. The encoded protein may be a regulator of Wnt signaling. Mutations in this gene are associated with Cenani-Lenz syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, May 21]

AChR beta 2 blocking peptide Reference: GTX88583-PEP Neuronal acetylcholine receptors are homo- or heteropentameric complexes composed of homologous alpha and beta subunits. They belong to a superfamily of ligand-gated ion channels which allow the flow of sodium and potassium across the plasma membrane in response to ligands such as acetylcholine and nicotine. This gene encodes one of several beta subunits. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 28]
