Trident 20% SDS (w/v)

SDS Solution is sodium dodecyl sulphate in milli-Q water. SDS is a detergent known to denature proteins. It is commonly used in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for protein separation. It is also used in nucleic acid extraction procedures for the disruption of cell walls and dissociation of nucleic acid:protein complexes.
