The kit includes a homogenization plate to efficiently remove cell debris and simultaneously homogenize the lysate. In combination with the HiBind RNA plate, this kit permits purification of high-quality RNA from as much as 40 mg seed tissue or up to 100 mg plant tissue. The system is also efficient enough to allow isolation of total RNA from as little as 0.5 mg tissue.
