Non-invasive sample collection tube for collection and stabilization of protein and DNA in the same oral sample. iSWAB-ID is an efficient sample collection system which enables long term room temperature stabilization of the collected sample at the point of collection, while ensuring proper chain of custody. This system allows for maximizing sample recovery and obtaining human DNA compatible with ID profiling assays. DNA extraction can be performed using any commercially available whole blood extraction chemistry.

highQu qPCR master mixes are based on the small molecular inhibitor technology Hot Start PCR allowing to achieve highest sensitivity and specificity under both standard and fast qPCR cycling conditions. They provide excellent results on both AT and GC rich templates, in multiplexing and guaranty rapid extension with early Ct values with minimum or no optimization. ORA™ SEE qPCR mixes provide an additional advantage of a simplified tracking of the process, as they are colored with an inert blue dye to make samples much better visible during pipetting and handling. Our master mixes are supplied with PCR Water to guaranty the best performance. To suit the broad instrument range the ORA™ qPCR Probe Master mixes are available in three versions – without ROX, with low or high ROX concentration.

iSWAB-Blood is an efficient system for the concentration and long term room temperature stabilization of gDNA and analytes from blood drops. Investigation of  metabolic genetic disorders has traditionally been performed by collecting several blood drops through a minimally invasive procedure called a heel prick. This technique involves spotting 5-6 blood drops on filter paper.

iSWAB-Microbiome has been proven to efficiently inactivate bacteria, fungi, spores, and DNA/RNA viruses allowing safer transport of biological samples to processing labs, especially when samples are subject to long transit times. DNA and RNA from collected microorganisms remains stable at room temperature for up to 40 days for DNA, and 21 days for RNA, eliminating the need for expedited cold chain transport.
