E.Z.N.A.® Fungal DNA Mini Kit Reference: D3390-02 E.Z.N.A.® Fungal DNA Mini Kit allows for the rapid and reliable isolation of high-quality total cellular DNA from a wide variety of fungal species and tissues. Up to 200 mg of wet tissue(or up to 50 mg dry tissue) can be processed in less than 1 hour. The system combines the reversible nucleic acid-binding properties of Omega's HiBind® matrix with the speed and versatility of spin columns to eliminate polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and enzyme inhibitors from fungal tissue lysates. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, restriction digestion, and hybridization applications. There are no organic extractions, thus reducing plastic waste and hands-on time to allow multiple samples to be processed in parallel.
E.Z.N.A.® FFPE RNA Kit Reference: R6954-01 The E.Z.N.A.® FFPE RNA Kit is specially designed for isolation of total RNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. This method can also be used for the preparation of total RNA from fibrous samples such as heart and muscle tissue. The sample is first processed in a special buffer by heating to deactivate RNases and deparaffinization. Then the lysate is treated with Proteinase K to digest proteins. The cleared lysate is then applied to a HiBind RNA column to capture RNA. After two quick wash steps, purified RNA is eluted with water. While E.Z.N.A.® FFPE RNA Kit is optimized to minimize the effect of formaldehyde modification, it is not recommended to use the RNA purified from this kit for downstream applications that require full-length RNA.
E.Z.N.A.® Blood DNA Mini Kit Reference: D3392-00 The E.Z.N.A.® Blood DNA Kit provides rapid total DNA isolation from 1-250 µL of fresh and frozen anticoagulated whole blood. The E.Z.N.A.® Blood DNA Kit can also be used for the preparation of genomic DNA from buffy coat, serum, plasma, bone marrow, lymphocytes, platelets, and body fluids. This kit allows for simultaneous processing of single or multiple samples in less than 30 minutes. Phenol/chloroform extractions, and time-consuming steps such as precipitation with isopropanol or ethanol have been eliminated. DNA purified with the E.Z.N.A.® Blood DNA method is ready for applications such as PCR, Southern blotting, or restriction enzyme digestion.
E.Z.N.A.® Micro RNA Kit Reference: R7034-01 The E.Z.N.A.® Micro RNA Kit combines the reversible binding properties of the HiBind® matrix, a new silica-based material, with the highly efficient lysis ability of RNA-Solv® to extract micro and large (200 nt) RNA from a wide variety of starting materials. Micro and large RNA are separated to allow for quantification into downstream applications. The system uses RNA-Solv® to efficiently lyse cells and protect RNA from degradation. Following a chloroform separation step, RNA is applied to a HiBind® RNA column where large RNA binds. The flow-through is retained and applied to a HiBind® Micro RNA column to bind small RNA.

E.Z.N.A.® Tissue DNA Kit Reference: D3396-01 The E.Z.N.A.® Tissue DNA Kit offers a versatile and cost-effective method for the isolation of DNA from a wide variety of samples including fresh or frozen animal cultured cells and tissues, buccal swabs, whole blood, mouse tail snips, etc. The DNA purification process is simplified with HiBind® Mini Column technology into four quick lyse-bind-wash-elute†steps and can be accomplished in less than 20 minutes post-lysis. This convenient spin-column format avoids time-consuming steps like alcohol precipitation, use of toxic compounds such as phenol and chloroform and allows for multiple samples to be processed in parallel. DNA purified using this kit is ready for most downstream applications such as PCR, sequencing, genotyping, southern blot analysis and restriction enzyme digestion.
RNA isolater Total RNA Extraction Reagent Reference: R401-01 RNA isolater Total RNA Extraction Reagent, based on guanidine isothiocyanate and phenol, has a strong lysis ability, which can lyse cells and tissue samples in a short time to ensure the integrity of RNA. This product is widely used for culturing cells, animal tissues, microorganisms, and plant tissues with less secondary metabolism, such as seedlings and young leaves. The sample can be fully lysed in RNA isolater. After centrifugation with chloroform, the solution will form a supernatant layer, an intermediate layer and an organic layer (bright red lower layer). RNA is distributed in the upper aqueous phase. After the supernatant layer is collected, the Total RNA can be recovered by propanol precipitation.Application: Based on guanidine isothiocyanate and phenol, strong cracking ability; The optimized lysate formula has a wide range of sample adaptability.
E.Z.N.A.® FFPE DNA Kit Reference: D3399-00 The E.Z.N.A.® FFPE DNA Kit is designed for fast and easy purification of DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. Paraffin removal can be performed using a xylene and ethanol method or efficient heat treatment. Samples are incubated in a specialized lysis buffer along with Proteinase K to reverse crosslinking, effectively releasing short and long DNA fragments. After adjusting the binding conditions with ethanol, the lysate is applied to the MicroElute DNA column to bind DNA. Cellular debris and proteins are effectively removed during the wash steps. High quality purified DNA is then eluted in elution buffer or water and is ready for applications such as PCR and next-generation sequencing.
